George came to Santa Cruz in 2009 to attend UCSC where he majored in mathematics and graduated with honors. He began tutoring math as an undergraduate and continued through his graduate studies in UCSC’s MA/Credential program. After graduating with a MA degree in education, George worked as a high school math teacher for 7 years at Harbor High, before taking time off to spend with his two sons. If you see him around town, he will most likely be chasing his kids around, taking a yoga class or trying to convince his wife to play Magic the Gathering.
