Keli Benko

Educational Specialist

Keli (Kay-LEE) enjoys working with students of all ages and learning styles. She seeks to support students in identifying their individual strengths and values and connecting these to their educational pursuits in the hopes that they are able to meet challenges with greater confidence and dexterity. Before joining Steps to Success, Keli received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley and later completed graduate work at UC Santa Cruz where she studied  public health efforts to protect California's public school students from the risks of toxic pesticide drift. She has over four years experience teaching at the university level and has worked extensively with students seeking to improve their writing and revision skills. When not at work, Keli enjoys spending time with her daughter, surfing, reading, mountain biking, and sharing meals with family and friends.
