Hannah Jones
Executive Functioning and ADHD Coach
Hannah became an English teacher over twenty years ago because she’s passionate about stories and sharing them with young people. Most recently, she taught AP Literature and Writing 12 and served as English Department Chair at Pinewood School in Los Altos Hills. Hungry to tell stories of her own, Hannah reduced her teaching schedule in 2015 to spend more time writing. The transition to a less structured work environment brought with it a host of organizational challenges, which led Hannah to an ADHD diagnosis of her own and a new career as an Executive Function coach. Now, Hannah works with young people to rewrite their own stories, helping them develop a clear vision of their goals and a clear path to achieve them, with a focus on developing executive functions. Hannah also continues to work with high school and college students to hone their writing and critical thinking skills. She is excited to join the Steps to Success team. Hannah holds an BA in English (Honors) from Oberlin College and an MA in American Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Hannah received her coach training from JST and earned her ACC from the International Coaching Federation in 2017.
